| just got back from long weekend in polperro, and my mates and i all agree that the old mill house was the best pub in the village. friendly staff, great food, well kept real ales, and the best value for money anywhere! the 2 course sunday roast lunch (for only 5.95) was TERRIFIC! | I Feel i have to put some things into perspective here. Like all businesses, pubs have good days and sometimes they have bad days. I have worked in the trade for many years, and site like this are a constant pain in the backside. The problem is, as you can't please all the people all of the time, some will be disappointed. These are the ones who will generally comment quicker on a forum than someone who has a good experience. It would be far better if those persons would actually speak up AT THE TIME and tell the staff/managers what the problem is, so they can be given the opportunity to sort it.
