The place is a s**thole everythings filthy and people are pikey and vicious. Such a pity as this pubs got huge potential but its reputation will never change. Oh and a message to everyone in there get a job, Im sick of paying tax for you simple minded fools. thefruitbat - 7 Jun 2007 15:15
We find it very friendly in there, only stuck up people write about "knuckle scrapers" etc... Yes theres plenty of kids there but it's good if you're a parent. Saying that, it is very smokey and we try not to go too often for that reason, will be better in June. bobthebinger - 25 Mar 2007 18:50
Although the pub is in desperate need of a refurbishment (Its gone to long for just a lick of paint!) I do feel that the staff and customers are very friendly, they are trying very hard to keep the unwanted out and the atmosphere has become on the whole a lot more pleasent. Only problem I have... feels more like a school playground on a sunday than a pub. Shouldn't these parents be at home cooking roast dinners instead of sitting in a pub ignoring there kids? ... or perhaps I'm a little old fashioned and its OK to let under 10's lungs feel with smoke whilst getting drunk! anonymous - 19 Feb 2007 13:20
