Poor Ale and Beer quality and customers seem bit weird and scary.
Staff were friendly give it that but tthe place smells like dog.
In need of modernising.
Watch out for two wankers in there called Liam and Jamie Tompkins there local pikes and need a kickin but there ponse off you if you go in there so be wary off them.
Overall pubs not good actually its shit!!!

I popped in here on Friday afternoon and there was one other punter drinking at the bar. I didn’t spot any Real Ales and there was only a limited range of bog standard lagers. There are two separate drinking rooms on either side of the pub with one side have 2 pool tables and the other having a pool table and a dart board. The pub also has Sky Sports which is shown on plasma screens.

There is a big beer garden with children’s play area and although the pub is on a very busy crossroads the beer garden is away from the road and fenced off so I’d imagine the planes going overhead would be noisier than the cars on the road.

This pub would be OK for watching the match or going for a game of pool with the lads, but I wouldn’t go with the family or the misses.

This is the nearest pub to where I live and went there a few months back with three mates on a Friday night...
There was a disco advertised for later in the evening but the place was dead and, as we were the only ones in there, we decided to play pool. Half-way through our game, the table lights went out and the jumped up little prick behind the bar refused to turn them back on until we finished our game as, 'the disco starts at eight'. Fair enough but we were still the ONLY ones in there and he could have told us that before giving us change for the game!
I wouldn't go back in there if I was dying for a piss.

Used to be a regular here, and watched the place go downhill. Still pop in when I can, and it's really improving. Just spent the evening here with the Mrs, the pub is getting better, slowly but surely and the food was absolutely fantastic. My advice is, if you came here a few years ago and didn't like the place, come back and give it one more try, it's nothing special, but you never know, you might just end up having a good night.

The pub has just had a little re-jig, with the old lounge bar becoming a sports themed bar boasting 3 pool tables, 3 screens including a large plasma screen (with sky and setanta sports) and an mp3 juke box. There is also a large garden including a childrens play area, a covered, seated smoking area.
