| Excellent pub. Good beer. Had a pint of W'ruff night which reminded me rather of Ossett's Excaliber. The brewery can be viewed through a porthole in the lounge. Food good also. I had the chicken curry, whilst my girlfriend had Jacket potato with prawns came to around £15 as I recall. Very good indeed but the bayleaf was a bit bland and chewy. | Haven't been in for quite some time but paid a visit here yesterday with some mates - and I'm pleased to say that nothing has changed. | Called here by bus in August as I had heard they were now brewing, and what an experience. The two of us had 10 excellent different ales while there, along with a superb meal. Loved the photos of the dogs on the wall. gillhalfpint - 8 Oct 2008 11:10 |
