Decent pub just opposite the Severn Theatre - had a swift one before a concert on a Friday night. One Hobson's, Hppback Crop Circle and one other on pump - I had the Hobson's and it was a decent pint. Interior has been modernised at some point but still has a small pub atmosphere. Plenty of parking close by so not bad at all.

Now serving Hobsons Bitter which has been added to the Punch list. It was a very good pint as well when I called in last week.

Thanks very much for your comments , just to let you know we would very much like to support local breweries however we are a Punch Tavern so can
only purchase off a very restricted list which we agree is a shame.

Nicely kept locals pub just across the Welsh bridge. 3 handpumps on the bar serving Spitfire, Deuchars and Old Rosie cider. Supporting good local brews then? Er no. Efficient service, I had a pint of Spitfire which was well kept. There was quite a lot of banter going on between a bunch of girls in one corner and a bunch of guys who looked as if they had just finished work on a building site somewhere close by. Very amusing. Not a bad little pub, I'll call in again.

Visited this pub because i was told they had accomadation, it was friday afternoon and there was a few in.Landlady explained that they no longer offer accomadation , but then rang around 2 or 3 other pubs untill she found me something. I was so impressed i came back on the sat for lunch and to thank her ,ended up staying till about 10pm .Left a bit worse for wear but have now definately found my local when i return to shrewsbury .Great pub Great atmosphere, great food , and now great friends .
