This pub is unique - there are more chavs standing outside smoking their guts out than there are inside. Morden is a sleepy town and does not deserve a pub of such notoriety. One visit was more than enough. Very large premises in need of instant closure. Will hopefully follow the Crown and Lady St Helier into oblivion. Leave well alone unless you enjoy the company of a rather dubious crowd. kaktus - 9 Oct 2008 22:36
This pub was doing ok for a little while but since the current manager and her sister took over there are a lot of fights and blatant drug dealing which they seem to turn a blind eye to. Not a nice place at all. Avoid susanatkins - 6 Jul 2008 12:23

Well actually the pub APPEARS to have been cleaned up .The manager is a decent man and also the lady that appears to be his partner . Unfortunatelly the other bar staff turn a blind eye when they are not in the building and just laugh it off. The food is excellent and the chef a pleasant gentleman who is always cheerful . The place is always clean . prodigy - 5 Mar 2007 11:58
I think the last post of 28/11/06 is rather harsh. I have been going to this pub since the middle of November 2006 and it is a nice pub, and the staff are friendly. The manager has done wonders, as the pub had a bad reputation in the past, but it's image has been cleaned up considerably. There is entertainment, and the locals are friendly. It is a relaxed enviroment and definately worth a look. The prices are reasonable and certainly would recommend this pub!! jonpalace - 24 Jan 2007 14:32
