| The Angel's definately not everyone's cup of tea - you'll love it or hate it. You'll get almost a complete cross-section of people in here and that's part of the appeal. Probably not a pub for anyone too worried about appearances, and there's the odd fight too, but nothing ever gets out of hand. | Excellent value Sunday lunch here for the students amongst you. Got a dancefloor out the back and usually plays more specialist music. Excellent gambler selections with a wide range of interest games. Not the best selection of beer. DeggyT - 4 Nov 2006 21:24 |
| Popped in at the weekend hoping for a pint of MILD. There was no MILD but Hancocks HB is worthy of note. The bar staff were very friendly and pointed me in the direction of the "Ship & Castle" for a pint of Brains MILD. Stus.search.4.mild - 20 Jul 2006 02:19 |
