Bring Ray and Mary back from Ireland, chuck out the current scum, redo the pub, serve well kept Guinness again and things would be so much better... LittleNicky - 30 Jul 2008 00:11
Not bad but lager is bloody expensive. The food is rank, but cheap. The staff are ok and some of them have been there for a while. They show football on a big screen and there is lots of floorspace. The previous landlord (known affectionately as FC) ran it quite well and kicked out of a lot of the local scum(who all moved on to the Railway and then Bar Malden). It is a bit of a drinkers pub with its share of old soaks, including a local drunk called 'Soapy'. The Fountain has a big beer garden and car park andis very well located being less than 10 mins walk from NM railway station and at a crossroads on the major bus routes through new malden. Just a shame the beer is so expensive (but a decent selection though). Jimmygenius - 9 Jul 2008 10:07
when i went in this pub when in 2004 when i tunred 18 i would say it was gettin run into the ground but in the past 2/3 years i would say i think it had such a big turn round the atmosphere is lovely so are the people (staff and customers) the food is of good quality and of reasonable portions i have also notice they wont run products like i find in other pubs it is great in the summer with the large beer garden mine and my friends children love it and are warmly welcomed. i reccomend this pub to everyone!!! bumblebee123 - 21 May 2008 17:37
