Description
18th Century country Inn caringly restored to its former glory by the current owners with 4 eating and drinking areas serving a selection of wines, beer, soft drinks and real ales in an ambient atmosphere of slate floors, beamed ceilings, open fires and superb customer service . The Inn has 12 letting bedrooms, all en-suite, many recently refurbished, a mixture of twins and doubles. Although situated in the heart of the country The Chequers is close to the M1, M6, M69 and A5 and is situated close to High Cross - classed as the 'middle of england' where the A5 crosses Watling Street
