I have to say that I do actually like this pub for it's beer and everything else, except for one thing.....the food, it has to be the worst grub I've had in a boozer, they say that they have a 'Chef', I think 'Microwave operator' would be more fitting, I had a sunday roast in there recently, very expensive and very digusting, the gravy was like custurd...sorry but they really need to sort it out, if they did then I think they would do very well.

LOL a public hair, I think you mean pubic. Either way that's disgusting and I don't blame you. Funny how contrasting some punters experiences are!

Where do I start, I am a trained Chef and I have been going to this Pub for years but I must say the food has really gone down hill, the last 3 times i have been there i have experienced the worst food ever and when i have complained to the staff, they are so rude. For example my chips were raw and not even cooked, when i complained, the waitress reply was that the chef always does that so i should get over it. I also went to the loo and witnessed the Chef going to the toilet and not even washing his hands and going straight back to the hot plate and handling food for customers, i could not believe it. The final straw came when i found a PUBLIC hair in my salad, when i complained the polish waitress was so rude to me and said it was mine, she walked away and called me a very rude word that is too rude to say on this site, lets just say it begins with C. I will never go into this pub again, it used to be my local but never again. I have recently started to go to another Local pub in st margarets and have found people who have had the same problems with this Pub and who will never go back again.

Probably one of the best pubs in London. Great atmosphere, spacious, large choice of food and drink and the food is also of very high standard. Really nice outdoor seating area with heaters for us smokers to puff away. Anyone and everyone I know whos been here has always complimented it after, apart from my little brother, who got turfed for being underage!

Great looking pub in a nice area of London.
Nice inside and good range of beers and wines.

Food is expensive. Trying to be gastro. Hit and miss.
one night they ran out of most of the things i chose at 8pm. Pretty poor.

Service is the one thing that lets it down in a big way. If anything is asked of staff. Watch the barriers go up.

Question on the lack of main courses at 8pm. he replied im just the waiter, what can I do.

Considering our table was spending around £100 on food and drink, i would have expected a little more
