| Very good - you could compare it directly with the Dolphin in Sydenham and it would win on every count - particularly beer quality and cosiness. mtaylor40 - 5 Jan 2009 22:07 |
| Cool pub. We go most Sunday afternoons. One half of pub has live music ... some weeks keyboard jazz, other weeks a fiddler and guitarist combo. Very chilled out, with a lot of families dining. At the other end of the pub are people relaxing and reading Sunday papers or watching the football on SKY. Only pub I've ever been to, that manages to successfully mix live music/live football/Sunday lunches. Strange, but it does work. Aspall's cider available in 500ml bottles is also very nice. £4, but worth the little bit extra. Pat_Bateman - 9 Dec 2008 10:54 |
