Went in here recently for the first time in years.. Enjoyed the front room vibe. And everyone turning round to look at you when you go in. Having said that, it's not all bad, and preferable to say, the Admiral Nelson..

This might look and feel like someones front room, but I have enjoyed this pub every time I have visited it. It does not even get that busy on match days but they do have a policy of different prices for locals and non locals which can be really annoying, especially when you only live up the road. Most probably the best pub in the Whitton area (even though it is listed as Twickenham on this website)

Going downhill rapidly, owners only interested in rugby and concert money these days.Whatever you do ,do not have the temerity to criticise the quality of the beer to the landlady or you will be barred. Not that she will have the courage to do it herself, she will get a lackey to do this whilst she is not even on the premises. She has however been overheard discussing the fact that the previous landlady is in the habit of `bouncing` cheques on her,and this to non regular customers.BE CAREFUL!!

A very good traditional pub, Friendly staff and most probably serves the freshest pint in the whitton area.
Pleasent beer garden and friendly atmosphere between the locals.8/10

Had a great Pint in here today and last week when I stopped on my way to Twickenham. Nice to be in a busy pub but not one which is completely mobbed by the crowds like the ones in Twickenham centre itself. Two great advantages of this pub are one it must be the closest pub to the rugby ground. Two it is a great meeting up point, esp good for me as I was meeting up with friends from Wolverhampton.
