| A Ruby ale (from Flack Manor?) was on one handle, Flack Manor Double drop was on the other. The Ruby ale was excellent, as was our soup. Service was attentive and friendly, the bar area had some settees and other seating around tables. Prices were most reasonable. There was also a separate dining room and secluded lounge area (for residents?). There were only another four people in the bar area at lunchtime, and with the atmosphere, ale and food we sampled I would also think that this 17th century AA 4 star rated inn deserves to be more popular Feed - 22 Feb 2012 19:54 |
| Every time I use this pub it is virtually empty and, to be honest, I don't know why. The ales are normally in good condition, the place is clean and tidy and it has a large car park. I can't comment on the food because I haven't seen any being served!! Shame because it is a very nice pub. wolvesfan - 15 Sep 2010 14:17 |
