| totally changed now , all the chavs seem to have migrated elsewhere , have eaten 4 times here and the food is brilliant , no pool table any longer and lots of plasma screens around but they show just videos off the jukebox , should have the footie on sometimes , seems to be taking a lot of food custom off other pubs just a shame the beer is crap 10/10 for the food but maybe thats all its about now a lot of old locals seem to have gone elsewhere since the refurb RIP_BODDIES - 11 Mar 2006 13:53 |
| Is awaiting a major renovation apparently. Quite a lot of nooks and crannies (and a rear dining area that they sometimes open). It can be great for Sunday lunches with the wife/kids and Friday night with the mates (though forget getting anywhere near the pool table). | I would highly reccomend this pub, I stayed there for 2 nights in New Year and had a fabulous time. The food and drinks were excellent and they have a superb room with a four poster bed.
