Further to my earlier post, I was confronted on my last visit to the pub with the sight of the previously dreadlocked white barman, with an absolutely clean-shaven pate. Totally scalped! Strangely, no sign of the Mohican...

Alenut's right (whoever he/she is ?) this is a good pub. Cask Marque signs now back on the pumps, and the food's excellent. The ESB and London Pride are top notch, and there's plenty of lagers for the 'lads'.
Live music every Friday night, a good quiz on a Thursday, and the crib league starts again soon on Monday nights (we still need 2 new players, though.)
Best barmaids in Slough, plus the only white barman with dreadlocks, and the only singing Mohican. Well worth a visit !!!!!

new folk behind the bar, but good beer, chirpy barmaids, and best of all, homemade cheese rolls!

Good luck to the new owners. Lets hope they don't undo the good work of the previous landlords and let the dregs back in ! Rumour has it, it's run by the same family as the Queen of england. Please not another irish pub.
Time will tell.
