Not good, very poor beer and limited range of food. Draught cider was OK. Tony2012 - 19 Apr 2012 16:18
Visited Sunday lunch. Probably the worst beer I have tasted in quite some time, weird after taste, lacking in body and taste, really terrible. JohnGl - 15 Apr 2012 19:52
I went on Sat 14th April 2012, had a couple of pints of Blondie and it was loveley and only £1.80, basic good very cheap vegitarian food, great band on upstairs, a fabulous pub, nice staff, great beer and VERY cheap JOCKJOYCE - 15 Apr 2012 12:49
After reading some of the reviews , I had to try the beer brewed in this pub. I have to agree with the previous comments. Not only does each of the beers brewed in the pub have a terrible metallic, antiseptic after taste making them virtually undrinkable, but the brews themselves are not balanced in terms of malt and hops like good light beers should be. All in all a very poor attempt at brewing beer. A shame really as the pub itself is very traditional, although the Gents toilet is pretty unpleasant. JohnGrinwall - 26 Mar 2012 15:25
Horrible beer and smelly gents toilet, can't really say much more. Basilglossop - 12 Feb 2012 17:20
