Standard Wetherspoons, same as all the others. Beer is forced through sparklers rendering it tasteless. baxterfish - 29 Mar 2012 07:04
This is a better than average 'Spoons. Mid-day it is fine, with good service, reasonable (and cheap) food and beers and the plus (for me) of draught New Forest cider (yum!). But it is still a 'Spoons and I suspect that it changes its identity at about 8:30pm, when the attraction of very cheap beer begins to attract "yoof". Daytime, 7/10. HenPen - 1 Jan 2012 14:26
Its a Wetherspoons, it looks pretty much like all the other Wetherspons inside, serves pretty much the same beer, and exactly the same food. Still it was warm and open at 1030 in the morning so where else was I going to get a pint?! Hodge1 - 15 Oct 2011 20:19
Went in with a friend today. Ordered 2 different pints of real ale. Mine was just drinkable, and my friends looked and tasted like sludge. Food was OK though. robfrancis - 21 Jun 2011 14:36
A large double decked spoons with good quality real ale at sensible prices. pleasant beer garden next to the river. So come on you moaners, what do you want, maybe they should go and pay the earth somewhere else. This is a good place with friendly staff and clean toilets most of the time. All pubs that are anything like get rowdy at times! noggin46 - 30 Apr 2011 18:49
