Staff at the Nags Head, watch for customers who ask for a tab and then can't remember how much they've drunk when it's time to settle up. They'll be the same ones that go home so drunk they put their slanderous reviews on BITE twice! pubinspectors - 10 May 2012 11:01
watch out if paying by card. They have repeatedly tried to overcharge us on the total. delpus - 16 Apr 2012 03:26

Obviously chelsea greg and waitrose ernie are either (a) one in the same or (b) trying too hard to chat me up!! mcroyal - 22 Feb 2012 22:56
Called in for the first time on Saturday during a day out/beer crawl from London. Excellent pub with a superb beer selection, and well worth the 10-15minute walk from Reading station. Seemed friendly and had a lively atmosphere. Busy enough at 3/4pm on a Saturday afternoon to obviously be doing something right. Good pies too - but order early or you may be left with only the veggie option... derekwinchester - 19 Feb 2012 15:15
