Looks great on paper. Food was nothing special and beer, although a great selection is way, way over priced. 5/10 THE_Ale_TEAM - 12 Feb 2012 16:35
Not really my sort of place..would have liked to have seen it in it's previous guise as the Fulwell arms. Still, needs must so took my family in there to eat and drink of course. The grub was top notch and the dark leffe was equally as nice. The staff were attentive and polite and although im not keen on food in pubs this place certainly fits the bill for a family outing. nickthefish - 17 May 2009 20:55
Best roast lunch on a Sunday i've had in years, massive selection of Belgian beer, friendly staff, good quiz, large beer garden, sky TV, almost perfect pub just missing a pool table but i can live without that. LondonBoy29 - 15 May 2009 15:18
Excellent meal in there on Sunday for my birthday. We had 12 people inc 2 kids aged 2-3. The staff gave them co.louring pens and little gifts from a goodie bag which was an amazing thing to do, really nice. The food was excellent, the beer was brilliant, I cant thank Andy and his staff enough for making my birthday one to remember. bobl72 - 18 Feb 2009 09:21
| I agree with last comment as I too was in here Sunday lunchtime. Despite the fact that Sundays is "Family Day" (great idea!) and the pub was chocka with pushchairs, buggies, babies and lactating mums, it made for a warm, homely atmosphere. Great, inventive, tasty and well presented food along with unusual Belgium beers (many on draught) makes this pub a cut above the rest. Even as the place was really busy, our food arrived in 20 minutes. Excellent! Next time we visit we shall travel there by train, and then we can both experience the wonderful beers!
