been in here a couple of times and all was good, both visits on football days whilst the game was in progress. busy but not rammed and the volume was loud enough to hear but not deafening. nice looking menu and the food looked really good as it went past. didnt have time to eat as i was meeting someone but i will definatly go back in the future. i hear its a good craic at the weekends.

that 'over 21s' story does seem overreaction. I'd think that normally that kind of rule is something that _can_ be invoked if someone looks like they're causing trouble - but you weren't - not something that has to be adhered to as if it were gospel. Clearly in Fulham they think they can always drum up a couple hundred more punters from somewhere. But such behaviour will often turn round and bite a pub in the arse.

In terms of the bars near Fulham Broadway station this is in my view the best. Never seen it heaving (may be I don't stay out late enough) and the staff are always friendly. The Guinness is good, and the place in general is pretty tidy. If you're arranging to meet up with some one in Fulham and want to find a half decent place to start out.

on entering i was id'd and thats fine cause i look young, i showed my drivers licence and was allowed in. i went and bought a drink and proceeded to have a nice evening, if not a bit expensive. however come my round i approach the bar and suddenly with complete unprovoked rudeness the barman, who looked little over 18 himself told me the place was 21's and i should get out. i shugged off the bad manners and left to go and sit back down. however two minutes later the man approached our table and without saying anything snached my bottle of becks out of my hand and pointed to the door. i dont have a problem with the rules, 21's is 21's but i only ask then not to allow me in on the assumption that it is 18's and then act in such a rude and insulting way. i only ask to be shown some respect when im out spending my hard earnt money.

Great fun and very good staff. Go there a couple of times and they make you feel welcome. Guinness is one of the best in West London. Fri & Sat can be very busy because it is free entry and open till 1am. Show most sports including GAA so gets a lot of Irish in there adding to the 'craic.'
