I used to go into this pub regularly when I was a student in Twickenham in the mid 90’s and it had a lovely atmosphere and an oldie worldie pub feel which made it a great drinking experience. How times have changed. I would expect a pub located on a high street to be rammed on Christmas Eve but I was falling over the tumble weed as I walked in. The place has also had a make over since my last visit and it now looks like any other corporate pub (e.g. All Bar One) and it would seem that with the make over, the soul has been ripped out of the place. This was a shame because it had a nice selection of beers and what looked like an interesting food menu. I wish Fullers would stop decorating their pubs in this manner as it is spoiling the atmosphere of what were nice local pubs. No wonder people have stopped going to pubs as much as they use to.

Not a bad pub. I'm female and go in but avoid it when there's football on as it seems to pull in rather a strange clientele who are a bit creepy.

Other times it's fine. The staff are friendly, the beer and wine are good and it's handy for Bar Estilo for tapas after a few pints. What more could you want?

Nice little boozer, friendly bar staff. The wind blew my pint over (along with all my papers) when I was sat in the garden and the guy behind the jump got me a free refill.

Nice big pull-down screen for when the footer is on. Given its on the main high street they do pretty well to keep the riff-raff out. Gorgeous pizza's.

A rather nice pub, though I must admit I would avoid it if the football was on!
I don't know whether they still have live music in the evening but I saw the Strawbs (acoustic version) in here about 4 years ago!

Dull, unexciting.
Handy for the bus stop.
Bland corporate makeover makes it a bit All Bar One decor wise.
Full of men - hardly any women - which is strange for a high street pub.
