Very friendly landlord and generally nice boozer. Only eaten there once, fish and chips and it was really nice. Good little smoking area/ heated area out back with a flat screen for the footy. Nothing amazing but generally nice little boozer, one of the more homely-feeling rubadubs in richmond whoagigi - 2 Dec 2008 14:06
Beer was fine. The food wasn't great, but is reasonably priced for the area. Has Sky Sports (and Setanta) oftenscore6 - 16 Nov 2008 22:54
An (increasingly rare?) example of an unmodernised Young's pub. Quite dark and a bit nook-and-crannyish indoors, but not unpleasant. The Young's Bitter was in pretty good form when I visited. Good service as well - all in all a nice pub. Hopefully there are no immediate plans to gentrify it. grecian - 2 Jun 2008 11:42
Great pub in the traditional sense of pub. I've never had a bad pint (normally better than average) and they have a decent range to try as well. The food has always been excellent when I've had it. Especially the roast which is just about the best I've had in London. The bar staff have always been equally as good. Friendly, efficient and always with a smile. Overall top pub. theoneandonlyjoe - 13 May 2008 16:57
